Metal Mayhem Server Rules
These rules are written to keep Metal Mayhem playable, competitive and understandable for Rust Console players. Rust is an aggressive survival game, so raids, PvP, betrayal and rivalry are part of the experience. The rules below focus on behaviour that damages the server rather than normal gameplay.
1. Fair Play
Do not use cheats, scripts, external tools, modified hardware, recoil automation, packet manipulation or any exploit that gives an unfair advantage. Players are expected to fight, farm, raid and defend using normal Rust Console mechanics. If an action depends on a bug, duplication method or unintended map position, do not use it.
2. Teaming And Server Limits
Respect the team limits and server format shown for the server you join. Do not use temporary alliances to avoid a team limit, share bases across multiple groups, rotate players to hide a larger team, or coordinate raids in a way that breaks the spirit of the server. If a server is advertised as solo, duo, trio or squad, that limit applies to active gameplay and support roles.
3. Chat, Discord And Harassment
Trash talk is expected in Rust, but targeted harassment is not. Do not post threats, hate speech, personal information, extreme abuse, impersonation attempts or repeated spam. Discord access is part of the wider community, so behaviour in Discord can affect server access when it impacts players or staff.
4. Raiding And Base Conduct
Raiding is allowed unless a specific event or server rule says otherwise. Do not abuse terrain, safe zones, map gaps or blocked monuments to create unreachable loot rooms or impossible raid paths. Bunkers and normal base design are part of Rust; exploit-based structures are not.
5. Kits, VIP And Paid Perks
Kits and perks must be used through the systems provided by the server and website. Do not attempt to bypass cooldowns, claim for another player, abuse role checks, or exploit a failed transaction. Paid perks support the network, but they do not remove the requirement to follow server rules.
6. Reports And Appeals
If you report another player, provide useful evidence: names, server, time, clips, screenshots and context. Staff decisions are easier to review when the report is specific. If you are banned, use the appeal process rather than arguing in public channels. Appeals should explain what happened and why staff should review the decision.
7. Wipe-Day Expectations
Wipe day is busy and competitive. Server restarts, queues, role checks and kit systems can be under heavier load than usual. Players should expect fast PvP, active raids and high population. Staff may prioritise server stability and serious rule issues during the first hours of wipe.
